When Visit Dallas wanted to increase its minority-owned business membership, they wanted to educate and engage potential members. Visit Dallas entrusted B A S Media with making the connection.
EDUCATING THE MASSES
Partnering with Visit Dallas’s diversity and inclusion department, we highlighted partnerships throughout the metroplex that the organization had supported over the past 12 months and rallied the organizations involved. We leveraged existing video and coordinated interviews to tell the story of the benefits of membership.
We then set out to evangelize these supporters. We hosted five events in 24 months in which we hosted key business influencers and decision-makers from senior managers to the C-Suite. We showcased venues, hotels, restaurants as we hosted educational and entertainment-focused events.
With a new-found knowledge of the organization’s offerings, membership and corporate partnership increased by 15 and 25%, respectively.
